Viewing recorded programs always returns to start

When I watch a recorded live event, like a football game, if I switch to a different program, when I return to the recorded program it starts at the beginning rather than the point I left.  This is really a pain, as I have to use the fast forward button to get to the point of the recording that I was previously at.

What should I do so that when I return to a partly viewed recorded program I’m at the point in the program that I left and not at the start of the program?

Have same problem. Said I needed to phone but can't waste the time.

I found it only happened when I watched the recording to the point where the live broadcast is and switched away, then back. It also disappears from the "Continue Watching" list.

I guess this doesn't help much but you're not alone.

Called the phone # you provided and spent almost a 1/2 hour talking to a team member.  Had me go thru all my setting and restart the system.  Everything was set as it should be.  Did not have any suggestions regarding how to avoid the issue.  Bottom line is the call was a waste of time.

You would think they could duplicate the problem and figure it out. Then again, subscribers have been clamoring for over a year for a manual recording capability and it hasn't happened yet. Other services have it. Can't be that hard.
