Nice to finally have, but you really should say you can get up to 7 channels because I only have 5 Multi-View Channels, not 7.

Looks like you have to restart your device as well....if you have a Gemini device. Apparently not everyone gets the Local mix either. Including me. Not sure why all my local channels are available on Dtv Stream.

I also get all my locals through DTV stream and I am also not getting the local mix and it would be nice to get.

@Tiger593 The article says we get a local mix if Dtv has permission to stream our locals. Well, if we get our locals--then doesn't Dtv have that permission? Confusing

Thanks for the feedback, @Tiger593. Currently, the Locals Mix is only offered in select markets where DIRECTV has the rights to stream ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC local stations. The Sunday Sports Mix is offered during the football season (beginning Sept. 7). Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team

@DIRECTVhelp Right to stream. What does that mean?? If those locals are in our channel package and we are already able to watch them----doesn't that mean Dtv has the rights to stream them????

I do not understand. I get ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX channels streamed. Are you, Rhyan @DIRECTVhelp, trying to say that DirecTV does not have the rights to stream all local channels that are provided to their streaming customers?   I would not think that would be the case.  But what do I know? I guess it might have just been better to say that it is only available in select markets.

I absolutely LOVE the NEWS mix. I appreciate that because satellite had it also and I REALLY MISSED IT.

But I am only getting 4 not 7 (Business, News, kids, and sports). The only one I would use out of that mix is news.

It would really be great to have one called CUSTOM where we can fill in our own four channels. Now that would be great!

@Ludwick577 @Tiger593 thanks for the feedback and it is based upon select DMAs.  DIRECTV is looking at enhancements in the future.

@mfpcarden I understand that it is only available in select markets or Designated Market Areas.  It is just when the response was stated the way it was to me that it makes you wonder things. It would have been so much more helpful and less confusing to others had the DTVHelp employee stated that it was only available in select markets and left out the part where DirecTV has the rights to stream, because if you receive your locals through DTV Stream, then I would assume DTV has permission for them to be streamed.

Agreed. The line for local mix availability should be "available in select markets"....... and not "available where Dtv has the rights to stream"
