Roku Pro DirecTV app

First..the site here is telling me I can include images and links...I see NO way to add an image. I made previous posts and included a link and was told in a reply the Tech wasn't allowed to open links. So why tell me I CAN include them.

The DirecTV app times out after X number of hours if there is no input to the app. If you do not respond to the big blue box with "Are You Still Here" then it starts recording the show you were watching if you don't respond after X number of minutes. There is no option in settings to turn this annoyance OFF. DirecTV needs to update the app with an option to do this. NO it is NOT my Roku Pro doing this as it doesn't happen with any other app I use, just DirecTV. It's so annoying I'm am seriously considering dropping my DirecTV account and going to something else. It shouldn't take too much for a good coder to make this change.

So here's a link to the screen shot I took of this even if you can't open links. Maybe someone there at DirecTV will have the nads to go look.

Well you're wrong @Ludwick577. I probably don't see those 2 icons because of my short length of time on this forum. :)

This is an old and common complaint. Many posts on this. It probably has to do more with revenue sharing with Roku than coding a change.

Well they do occasionally grab feedback from the forum. So hopefully down the road there will be some option changes like you want. But depending on agreements with Roku, they may be a bit restrictive.

Don't know why the link and image options aren't available for you. Perhaps try adding a space at the end of the link you have, which usually autotriggers it as a clickable link. That may cause the button to finally show.

Though linking to your own Google Drive might be frowned upon as opposed to a public link.
