Recording on streaming

How do I record on streaming. I push record and it comes up with an error message that says cannot record at this time.

I am using the DirecTV streaming devices. Any show I try it does the same thing.

Yes error code reads cannot record this program at this time. I will restart it to see

That's the message. Should be an associated error code with the message.
