previous DVR recordings on network channels stations show not available after plan change
After changing from Ultimate to Choice plan suddenly all of the DVR recordings from Network TV channels show as not available. The list of recorded shows is complete but will not play showing error code 30002-015. Customer Service tried to tell us the problem is the local station provider has now disabled recording their content which is likely 100% inaccurate since it is different local stations.

The rep said the local station disabled recording of their content? Either a new rep throwing out a guess, otherwise talking out their rear.
I would try refreshing the service authorizations. Log into your account and go under equipment. Will need to refresh each receiver individually (if you have any Clients they take their authorizations from the Genie so one refresh for the set).
Along with the refresh you may need to red button reset as well. Just do so one at a time in a specific order: Genie > Client > HDDVR > HD non-DVR
Even recordings from stations you no longer have should still work as you recorded them while they were authorized. Has been a great way to build up a library for later when you lower package to save money, or find not watching those other channels enough to make it worth it.
