No "continue watching" option when watching from playlist and recording is paused close to "live"
This is a recurring problem on DIRECTV Stream with posts going back 2 years about this - when watching from Playlist, there's no "continue watching" option when playback is paused near "realtime/live".
Scenario: 10 hour sports event (Wimbledon, Round 1, ESPN, started at 6 AM ET) I watched from my my playlist at 7 AM and caught up to real-time, and then paused playback at 4 hours 30 minutes into the recording. It was paused at the farthest point I could go in the recording, and there were still 5.5 hours left to be recorded. I left the TV and Osprey device on when I paused. I returned 1 hour later and was at live TV (to CNN). Hit LIST, went to my recording (still in progress) and the only playback option was "Start Watching". So then I had to painfully fast forward to get to the 4 hour 30 minute mark.
This happened to me in the French Open last month, too. Seems that when there's a VERY long recording and playback from LIST is paused near real-time, there's no Continue Watching option.
Like I said, others have posted about this, so there's been plenty of time to fixt this, and REALLY hope it CAN be fixed or I'll be facing this issue again and again for 8 weeks a year with 10-hour events for Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.
