Manual padding/start/end times
I used to have DirecTV satellite now I have DirecTV streaming it's really frustrating that now when I record a show it cuts off the end of every show because there is no manual padding or manual start and end times. It would be wonderful if DirecTV could figure out a way to add the manual padding option or the manual start and end times to their streaming services.

I only notice this on live NFL programing It will add padding up to 3 hours -and it runs into over it will cut off -My work around is I go 3 hour ahead in the guide and record the next program in the guide.
Even if you think any program you record my run over --just go in to the guide and program the next show or as many you think you will need --it's not like your going to run out of disc space --LOL

On satellite we could also record just a single SEASON of a series/show. For example, record all season 5 episodes of a show; meaning don't record any episodes from season 7, 6, 4, 3, 2, or 1. Can't do that on streaming.
