Loss of List button functionality

What a terrible answer from DIRECTVhelp.

How can I return the "My Library" contents to the list format?

You can't. No way to roll back. 

Please add the my list back or tell me how to do it. WHY, WHY, WHY, did you make this change so that it’s now harder to navigate—you’ve actually added another step into the process--and with no warning leaving customers trying to figure out what is wrong with their TV. DON’T TRY TO TELL US THIS IS AN  ENHANCEMENT!! DirecTV seems to make unpopular decisions arbitrarily for us, the customers. For example, let us put in when we want to erase something like Uverse had. Uverse was perfect for letting customers control options and not just suddenly making changes with no consultation. The DTV  DVR List was efficient and easy to navigate. Now there is an extra step where you have to slowly navigate each square and when you click on it, THEN YOU GET “MY LIST” JUST FOR THAT RECORDING ONLY INSTEAD OF JUST GOING DIRECTLY THERE FROM THE MY LIST BUTTON. WHOSE COCKAMAMY IDEA WAS THIS??? PLEASE REVERSE THIS OPTION ASAP!!!

It's the same amount of steps. The shows are listed in thumbnail form instead of a list. That and the way you delete a program are the only differences.  The new format also makes it harder to accidentally delete a show. I like it.
