Local channels not showing up on directv app

Im struggling to get my app to work to show my local channels.  I have tried so many different ideas without luck.  Any suggestions?

A common reason local channels may not appear in the DIRECTV App is related to location services, @kdb. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to your device Settings → Privacy (or Location Services) and ensure that Location Services are enabled.
  2. Close the app completely and then reopen it.
  3. If the issue persists, try restarting your device, force-closing the app, or uninstalling and reinstalling it.

I have 2 Vizio TVs and one Samsung along with iPhone.  All worked until recently for streaming, local channels and trying to record if I was not home to set the program.  I also had 4 Genie receivers that crashed in the last 2+months.  It has been a nightmare.
