Home screen very small

The home screen is very small. I've tried all the different display options (1080p, 1080i, etc.), but it doesn't make the display any bigger. The display on the channels looks just right - it is only the home screen that has become so small.

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your home screen display, @vgetis. Let's troubleshoot this together. Quick questions to help us pinpoint the issue:

1. What device are you using for DIRECTV Stream (e.g., Stream Box, smart TV app like Samsung/Roku/Fire TV, Apple TV, etc.)?

2. TV brand & model?

3. Did this start after an app update or TV settings change?

Try these fast steps:

1. On your TV remote, press the Picture Size, Aspect, Zoom, or Format button, cycle to "Full," "16:9," "Just Scan," or "Fit to Screen" (avoid "Zoom" or "4:3").

2. Power cycle: Unplug the streaming device (or TV) for 60 seconds, then restart.

Let us know the answers or what happens, we'll get it sorted! Charles, DIRECTV Community Team

Thank you, Charles. I have a small device hooked to the back of the TV, which might be a stream box (?). The TV is a Sony Bravia. The screen being small was just a random occurrence that started about a week ago.

I've used the DirectTV remote to set the display resolution at 1080i (recommended).

I've used the TV remote (Sony) to check its mode, which is at Full.

I've unplugged the device from the HDMI outlet for 60 seconds and the guide page is still small.
