DIRECTV Streaming records wrong channel

This is a known glitch. It will eventually resolve itself. It's happened to me many times and it usually stops in about a week to 10 days. Problem is---the DVR doesn't give you the option to record on a specific channel when settings up a "record series"  For now--just setup the series recording directly from the guide. Hopefully your issue with fix itself.

This has been happening for a couple of months, not just a week to ten days. If it is a known glitch, is it on the list of problems for DIRECTV engineers to fix?

People have been posting on the forum for a few years about shows recording on the wrong channel than what they intended. So yah--it's a known issue. Recently it has become more prevalent with the addition of FAST channels. But it happens on other channels as well. For example, CNN and CNN International. My market has 2 PBS channels--so it happens there too. 

If the software allowed customers to choose the channel to record on when setting up a series recording--this issue wouldn't happen. Directv Satellite has this feature.

Channel 32 at 6 AM.
