DirecTv Cuts Off Indy 500 Before the Finish

This usually happens when a program goes beyond its scheduled time allotted in the guide, causing the recording to stop right at that set end time since our Auto-Extend feature doesn't cover motorsports. You might be able to catch the full race On Demand if the network uploads it later. For future live events, we suggest recording the show scheduled immediately after the race just in case. Really?  Motorsports don't Auto-Extend?  I'd like to know who made that decision.  Not being able to have the option to extend recordings is ludicrous. DirecTv is the laughing stock of streaming services. The satellite DVR system was so awesome, yet the streaming DVR is terrible.

Actually the statement that motorsports doesn't autoextend isn't true.  The NASCAR race on Saturday went well past the scheduled time and it was shown complete.

Sorry, Charlie.  Your statement above is incorrect, as you wrote that PGA Tour coverage is auto-extended.  The PGA Tour event that just finished went to a playoff and you guys cut it off before it finished.  Please allow users to apply an auto-extension like we could on satellite.  Clearly you guys can't get it right.  I know I can record the program immediately following but that is a band-aid solution at best.
