DirectTV Stream Error
I am constantly getting an error on my DirecTV Stream while watching my DVR- the code is 50001-001 causing me the shut off and restart my tv. I am using the Streaming app on my Samsung TV. I have fiber internet and speed is not an issue- I have verified the speed several times. Please advise as it is getting frustrating to have to restart shows due to this error.

Lots of posts here about the fact that the Samsung DirecTV Stream is junk. Best bet is to use a $30 Roku or FireStick instead.

why is the app so awful, and when it at&t going to fix it? i don't have this trouble on my amazon fire tv.

You can buy a Directv Stream box from Walmart for 40 dollars. Has a remote with channel numbers, short buttons for record, dvr list, previous channel, guide.
