Closed Captioning Keeps Turning On

I have DirectTV Stream and use the C71KW-400 box from ATT.

I turn closed captioning off and it randomly keeps turning back on.  It always comes back on ... in hours or days.  The problem is the same on 7 different TVs and boxes.

Internet speed via ethernet is 240 Mbps on TV

I have done the following:

- Checked System Update

- Performed Restart

- Performed Factory Reset

None of this works.  Can anyone help with a recomendation?
