Changing channels

That's just how Directv Stream has always been. I don't see them changing it anytime soon.

Yeah, that's just the way streaming works.  I didn't like it when I came from Satellite either.  But I can live with it. 

Same here, I do miss the little picture of live TV when you go into the guide and start searching the menu not there

Also the remote, it doesn't stay lit long enough or brite enough?  The old remote the peanut shape was the best. Didn't even have look at it to change channels.  What happen to common sense why change it 

Oh and on the characters information there's no detail like they used to have on satellite example you're watching a movie you'll look up the character you had DOB  and so on.  On tv shows they also took away on an episode the listing of the characters for that show  unreal

@Libraves - I agree with everything you said!  There were some small but very nice features on the Satellite user interface that I miss.
