Casting to Google Nest Displays

casting to Google Nest Displays no longer works  
An error pops up on the display that says “There’s an Issue”

  • Check Wi-Fi: Confirm your phone, Nest Display, and any casting device are all on the same network.

  • Update apps: Ensure the DIRECTV and Google Home apps are on the latest versions via your app store.

  • Clear cache: In your phone's settings, clear the cache for the DIRECTV app to resolve sync glitches.

  • Verify compatibility: Use the latest DIRECTV app version that's optimized for casting.

  • Test another app: Try casting from a different app to isolate if it's DIRECTV-specific or a Nest issue.
