Anyone else encounter multiple software bugs on the app? Latest is program is supposedly still recording...
Latest is program is supposedly still recording although it ended hours ago. I tried to cancel recording multiple times - doesn't work. I canceled the series recording, that didn't help. I had been encountering multiple errors lately where I had to try to delete recordings multiple times before it would work. This is on top of SO many bugs. I have recordings set to new programs only - repeats also record. "Stop" button on my (Samsung) remote doesn't work on the app - works on all of my other apps. Their "answer" is always to uninstall and reinstall the app (never works) or to restart my device. They always think I have a box, which I have literally told them for years I don't have. But I try restarting my TV, which also never works. I have Samsung TVs - only the most sold brand on the planet, but maybe they don't bother to test any software updates?

The Samsung TV app is crap. Has been for years. Get an external device. If you would have done some research you would have seen all the issues with the Samsung app. I tried using the app on my Samsung back in 2020 but after a couple of hours decided to get their Gemini box instead. You're wasting your time if you think that app is going to get any better or complaining about it is going to get you anywhere.

We've looked into this on our end and haven't been able to replicate the issue. While there are no widespread reports currently, we're keeping a close watch for any emerging trends. Could you reset the device and try again? Let us know how it works out. Charles, DIRECTV Community Team

Just got off the phone with tech-support because I have two DIRECTV stream accounts and the recordings on both are messed up. This is really bad for me because I only watch 24/7 news live and I record everything else. Meaning probably 100 recordings a week.
The recording problem is on both my Gemini device and my Roku.
