When satellite switches to streaming it buffers too much.

Only Fox channel seems to switch to streaming and the others are ok and don't stream. How can I stop this buffering which is annoying which happens a lot when watching Fox.  My internet speed is 50 megs/sec.  The other channels come in fine while on satellite signal. Is there a way to adjust the streaming or internet to the TV.

What do you mean "switches to streaming"? Are you a DirecTV Satellite or DirecTV Stream subscriber? The 2 are totally different subscription services.

Thanks for the quick response, @bcbsncjlj. Hi, @RK8720. We're sorry about the buffering issue. This shouldn't keep happening. Let's fix this. Will send you a DM to further investigate the issue. Sophie, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I am on directv satellite and it has a signal saver that switches to streaming when satellite signal is lost.

Most likely your dish needs to be aligned.

OK I called the directv number and they refreshed my resolution and seems to work now. So I will let the TV run now and see if that solved the problem.

Refreshing the authorizations has nothing to do with losing the sat signal.
