TVs compatible with DirecTV Satellite

Which TVs work with DirecTV Satellite?  I need a new TV and want to be able to just plug it in.

Any TV with HDMI inputs.  But Major brand TVs are easier to program into the DTV remote.

Well DirecTV is compatible with pracitcally all TVs going back 80 years or so. But both DirecTV and TVs today prioritize HDMI. As long as you don't confuse a TV with a computer monitor (some of them look similar, but use there HDMI input a bit differently) you should be fine.

If you can, get a TV that supports HDCP 2.2 as networks update their Content Protection.

We were told that we needed a specific type of TV to work with our hotel Directv system. Is that true or will any non-smart large screen TV work?

Now that you mention hotel DIRECTV system, I assume you are using a headend so you’d need a TV that can support the encryption of those headends. I recommend you get in contact with your directv business dealer to help you with this installation.
