Trying to record event

That red slash happens because the device system is designed to automatically prioritize the highest video quality available, @Rives. When you try to record on Channel 242 HD, the system detects a native 4K broadcast on channels 104–106 and tries to upgrade the recording there, which often blocks the HD version.

We don't have a definitive way to force it, but you might be able to trick the system into recording the HD channel by trying this workaround:

- Press List on your remote and check Upcoming Recordings.
- If you see a 4K listing for the race, try selecting it and choosing Cancel Recording.
- Go right back to your main Guide, scroll to Channel 242 HD, and try pressing Record to see if it locks in the HD version.
