Recording local channels

My  issue, used to live in Ohio now live in Virginia. Accuweather shows our old zip code. Have contacted Directv support in the past and have given up trying to correct this.
This also creates another issue, we have a dvr in our rv as well, and when we are away and want to set up recording remotely on our home dvr, it shows our ohio stations as our local and we can not record these networks ABC NBC CBS FOX CW  as they are our local channels but only show up as our old stations(Toledo) and will not allow to be recorded on our DVD in Virginia.

Note: when we are out of town and try to record local virginia channels on our home dvr they do not show up. What does are locals from where we are(which we can't record anyway) and locals from where we used to.luve Toledo locals).
Please help,

Thanks, @shannon02! Local channel availability is based on your service ZIP Code and market area, @robertdyeo. If your Guide isn’t showing the right channels, please follow the steps below. We're also sending you a DM to know why Accuweather is showing your old ZIP code.

  1. Press Home on your remote.
  2. Open Settings > General > System Summary.
  3. Make sure your ZIP Code is correct.
  4. Go to Location > Location Status and toggle OFF.
  5. Press the red button on the side of your device to restart it.
  6. Toggle your Location Status ON after you restart. Rizza, DIRECTV Community Team
