Pixelation Issues on CBS
I have Directv via a dish, and have had pixelation issues since before Christmas. A technician came out and replaced the LNB on my dish and I was still having issues. He came back and replaced my receiver box. There is less pixelation, but I'm still seeing intermittent issues, primarily on CBS. Please assist with a permanent resolution. I am not paying for a technician to come back out.
Note that transponder 5 on 99 (cb) is zero. The technician said it's not due to this, but I'm not convinced.

I called but was on hold for 30 minutes and finally hung up. Not ideal customer service experience.

If a single channel is having problems, that suggests an issue with the feed between the channel to DirecTV. Have you contacted your local channel affiliate and reported the issue on their end?
Can you post your full signal readings (not just a single transponder)?
If a tech has to come back out within 90 days for the same issue, there is not supposed to be a charge. After that than they can charge you. But if you are only a little over the 90, they might adjust that but no guarantee.

Thanks @Juniper It's not ONLY CBS, but that's where I primarily see the issues. the technician was here less than 90 days ago. These are the readings on 99 (cb).

You clarified other channels can have the issue. Are they locals as well?
What is your zip code?
Do you have a antenna integrated in your setup with either the legacy AM21 or (still officially in beta) LCC?
How are the rest of your signal readings? Though for the 99, having one 0 and rest in the 90s is odd. If multiple were low I would think an alignment issue, but a single one...
@litzdog911 any further guidance with that specific a signal issue?
(notifications currently are having issues so may be a bit to get the network of minds going on your issue)

The other channels where I see issues are NBC and CNN. But it's most frequent on CBS. The other channel I watch is HBO, and I don't think I've ever seen an issue there. I'm in 28205.
The rest of the signal readings seem to be fine.
I don't have an antenna. I'm not sure what AM21 or LLC are.
Thank you for your help.

@DIRECTVhelp
I am still experiencing ongoing pixelation issues on multiple HD channels, primarily CBS.
• LNB has been replaced
• Receiver has been replaced
• Cabling and connectors were checked by technician
• Issue occurs on both TVs
• Signal readings show a persistent 0 on 99(cb) transponder 5
This strongly suggests a Ka-band alignment issue, not equipment failure inside my home.
Since this has been ongoing since December and prior service did not resolve the root cause, I am requesting a no-charge service visit to properly peak and realign the dish (99°/103° Ka-band).
Please advise next steps to resolve this without additional charges.
Thank you.

I don't have DirecTV, but what I do have is some technical knowledge. You say:
• LNB has been replaced
• Receiver has been replaced
• Cabling and connectors were checked by technician
• Issue occurs on both TVs
• Signal readings show a persistent 0 on 99(cb) transponder 5
I'm not sure what that last point means, but this definitely seems like an issue with DirecTV on their end.
Do you have neighbors or friends in the same area with DirecTV? Do they also have problems with these channels?
What about people with other providers? I'd assume they don't have issues, but this might help triangulate.

Thank you @baseballisback. I think it's on their end also, but both technicians who have been out have dismissed the TP 5 being zero and have offered no other solutions. So frustrating.
My next door neighbors don't have DirecTV, but I'll post on Nextdoor tonight to see if anyone else in the neighborhood is experiencing issues.

Another technician came out today. He said it's not a line of sight issue and TP 5 is not used by Directv. He doesn't know what else could be causing my issue. I escalated to an engineering team, but am not optimistic about a resolution. They also wanted to come out and move the dish wish I don't want to do unless I know that's going to fix my issue.
I posted on Nextdoor and no one has responded that they are also having an issue.
It's super intermittent, but when it happens, it's not minor. It's super noticeable. And super annoying.
@DIRECT-TV please help.
