Peacock NFL Playoffs

Did or was anyone aware of before the NFL season started that we (commercial accounts) would NOT be able to watch certain NFL playoff games due to no partnership with Peacock? I find this very disheartening and BAD business for not disclosing this to customer prior to the season and or when we purchased. It costs so much money and we will lose business this weekend because of this.

Playoff games are also broadcast on your local station(s). Why can't you view on those channels?

Because I am not in the local Miami or KC market.

You need to subscribe to the Peacock Pass with EverPass for your business. Unfortunately, DIRECTV for BUSINESS does not have rights with Peacock to broadcast it through satellite, so you’d need to separately purchase the game through EverPass.

The Miami at KC game will replay on NFL Network channel 212 on 1/14 3 AM to 6AM Eastern Time.

Well my patrons won’t be here to watch at 3am lol. I’m just disappointed that none of this was mentioned prior to purchase. Shady business. Especially when I pay 11k a year for one store just for NFL.

I am going to DVR the game and watch it when I wake up.

What should have been disclosed is that the NFL Sunday Ticket only covers out-of-market games during the season, not the playoffs. So anything else would be what is on your local channels.

DirecTV cannot override NFL blackouts or provide access to a service (Peacock) they don't have an agreement with. Perhaps whoever you signed up with could have clarified better, but doesn't make it a shady business because they are not allowed to provide you out-of-market playoffs.

@nabukl  NFL network is replaying te game Sunday Morning at #AM Easter Time not Sunday Ticket. And Direct TV did not have Sunday Ticket this year except for business accounts.

Yes, @nabukl is well aware of the NFL Sunday Ticket. I believe they are clarifying for the OP on how the NFL Sunday Ticket has always worked. And yes it is common knowledge that residential Sunday Ticket is gone. The OP specifically mentions they are a commercial (business) account.

The Sunday morning game means nothing for the OP. Being a commercial account, they aren't allowed DVR. So they can only show what is actively on when their business is open.

@Juniper My comments was just to let everybody know that game will be replayed on NFL Network overnight in case anybody wants to watch it. I do not appreciate your condescending reply to me. This is not the first time you have spoken to me or people on the boards like this. Nothing wrong with me sharing information.

The Tegna dispute has been resolved, so hopefully you'll be able to get those channels via DirecTV now.

It was not clear that you were sharing for other non-commercial accounts. I took your response to be directly related to the exact situation as there was no context otherwise. There was no condescending, just clarifying to make sure all were on the same page.

Nothing wrong with sharing information. But if you mean for users outside the situation the thread is about (commercial/business account in this case), please make that clear to avoid misunderstanding.

I am blunt and do not sugarcoat my responses, but they are honest and intended to be helpful. I will leave the feel-good extra fluff to the politicians and spin-doctors.
