New Menu rollout fiasco.

The other day DIRECTV rolled out a new update. I have yet to realize any improvements from the old one. The thing that really (Edited per community guidelines) is my two TCL Roku TV's open in the smart TV section and I have to select satellite feed to get to DIRECTV. It's always been this way and was no big deal until now. If I select the satellite icon it says looking for satellite feed and to check my wired connections. Happens on both TV's with high end HDMI cables. I spent a few hours Googling this and they had me changing a few settings and making sure some things were turned off but that didn't work. I have since found out by chance that I have to wait 30 seconds to a minute in the smart TV section for the TV programming feed to actually show up in the satellite TV icon it will connect. Why would they roll out a new system that actually messes up a TV. Didn't they test it first? Just what I had in mind  spend hours trying to make my equipment to work after a forced update.
