Message on initial screen on my tv
All of a sudden I have a screen when turning on my tv (I have Direct TV) that says "Select your experience" It appears to be created by Amazon. It has their insignia on it and suggests "Sign up a free Amazon account". It suggests a "full" or "basic" plan. I cannot use ANY key on my remote to remove this screen. I have tried everything and my tv will not budge from this page. Is there a way to reboot or ?

Hi, @pat8747. It seems your TV is on the 'Home' input instead of the HDMI port for the DIRECTV device, causing the Amazon screen. Use your original TV remote to switch from the "Home" screen to the HDMI port. If the screen is frozen, power cycle the TV by unplugging it for 60 seconds. While it's unplugged, press and hold the physical power button for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Let us know how it goes. Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team
