Lightning strike
Lightning struck near the house last night. One tv is working but 2 others are not. Power is at all sets. Tried resetting the other 2 without success. Blue lights to each box are on. Main box is on one of the non-working sets. Connections are visibly good.

Nearby lightning strikes can easily damage video connections, especially HDMI ports. You might try swapping boxes to determine if it's the TV or DirecTV box issue.

Just wondering if all TV's and boxes have a strip surge protector with 2160 Joules or more? Also include for gaming and computers. I say that, as lightening struck 3 houses down and have had power outages several times, over the past 20 years. Everything has powered back on. Wish you luck and have an update, when you have time.

The clients will not work without the Genie so it must be working, so it is the HDMI port on it or the TV's unless you have the HS17 that can't be connected to any TV so it is the mini HDMI port or the TV's.

Your help is appreciated as I’m not well versed in this. The Genie is on an older 1080P Sharp TV with a single HDMI input. The only working set is Smart TV on a client and the non-working pre-2014 TV is on a client. You’re saying the Genie is good but it’s HDMI output or the Sharp HDMI input is bad and the same with the other client box and connected TV?

Yes. While it is possible the client was fried. Unless you have the protection plain it will cost $99 for a tech call to fix your system but DTV will not fix/replace your TV's if that is the problem.

Sounds like individual client and/or TV got damaged. If Genie was damaged than all Clients (Mini Genie, RVU/DirecTV Ready TV, Gemini) couldn't work. What are the model numbers of all boxes, including the main Genie? (just in case any additional info comes up).
One of the reasons I stuck with receivers/HDDVRs with my Genie to be sure one box couldn't kill the others.

Main Genie- HR54-500 (TV not working but HDM1 number displays on screen when turned on)
client box 1- C51-100 (TV not working at all)
client box 2- C61K-700 (TV working fine)

Strange that only a TV with a Client works but the main Genie doesn't.
With this situation you may need to through a full reboot of both sides. Make sure no boxes or TVs are plugged into a 'smart' power strip as sometimes can be finicky with DirecTV setups.
Unplug power from all boxes and TVs.
Check HDMI cords on both ends and the ports for any damage and they are secure on both ends. (check coax to each DirecTV box as well)
Give it a couple minutes and then power on the TVs, dealing with any initial setup.
Verify HDMI-CEC is turned off for any TV that has it.
Manually change input on each TV to the one the DirecTV box is plugged into.
Power on the Genie and then when fully booted each box in turn.
That is the ideal order for a full reboot. If any are still not working you may need to swap boxes or TVs to determine which side is the problem. Check with known working HDMI cables in case it is just a simple fix.
If after all that you don't have it all working, then it may be time for a service call. As mentioned those are $99 (covered if you are paying for the protection plan), but do not cover your TV sets.
