Though technically (per the Terms of Service) all boxes are for the residence, occasional usage in an RV while traveling hasn't been an issue.
Will need a slimline SWM dish using a tripod/sled mount, or the Winegard Trav'ler. Box must be H or HR model. If you have any "Genie" setup, be aware that Clients (Mini Genie or Gemini) cannot work without the main box. As such the Genie-2 (HS17) is not for RV users as forbids everything but Clients.
Once outside your home spot beam locals will not be available. So will need a regular antenna on your TV if you want to get locals wherever you are at.

It is against the TOS to use the same account in 2 places at the same time.

In theory, yes. But it's against their rules.
