You can schedule recordings on the DIRECTV App, but deleting them remotely isn't supported yet, @bnajafi59. For now, you'll need to delete them directly on your TV's DVR. Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team

By the way, when I discovered this, I was happy, since it safeguarded me from my wife (hope she's not reading this!!!) accidentally fidgeting and deleting something I wanted saved.
