Can I hook up 2 tvs in the same room? But they must be aligned so both screens are the same at the same time. Mainly for sports viewing with lots of people watching .

Sure. What DirecTV equipment do you have? Model number(s)?
Easiest approach would be an HDMI splitter to feed both TVs the same video signal.
