The only message from DirecTV would be if you have ancient MPEG-2/SD-only equipment. But that shouldn't cause an entire green screen, so wonder if the message is coming from something else (such as the TV). Please provide some details to help figure this out.
What is the exact message?
What are the models of boxes you have?
Is this happening on all or just certain ones?
What troubleshooting have you tried?
Any other problems?
