local channels, using repeater RF instead
Channel 10 in Sacramento has 2 operating radio frequencies, RF Ch 10 and RF Ch 36 (repeater).
I don't receive RF Ch10 but RF Ch 36 is very strong. I can edit local channels to only see RF Ch36 (I get 2 CH 10_1's so pick one) but then I won't see Ch10 in the guide.
What can I do to ensure I only see RF Ch 36 and the guide?

DIRECTV satellite service. I had created a custom favorites lists. I just selected both 10_1's on my custom list. Now the weak one has the guide, the strong one just says 'Regular Schedule'. Now I can read the guide on the first but select the other, so that works.
I didn't consider the OTA channel 'add/delete' menu had to be updated in the favorites list too.
thx

Do you have directv stream or DIRECTV satellite service? You can create a custom Favorites list with everything checked off in the Guide except for Channel 10.

Don't have high speed internet here. Using an external antenna. Now I lost RF channel 36 (virtual 10). don't remember how to get it back, Tried 'Reset Settings' and 'Start Setup'. Only displays the weak ch 10 now.
With an antenna rotor, I can't ensure I'm aiming in the correct direction if the channel doesn't even show up in my list.
The zip code entry that takes forever doesn't seem to do anything. Tried entering the zip from another state, still get the same local channels. There should be a way to select an RF channel independent of zip codes.

The zip code does nothing but give the aiming coordinates for sat TV.
