Channel 659...SportsPak

This channel is in SportsPak, but is the only channel in that group that I can't recieve. Have done 3 restarts and refreshes and had Chat try for an hour. All to no avail. Others with SportsPak have said this channel is not working for them. Any other advice?

The Sports Pack doesn't get you out of market games/channels.

659 SportsNet Pittsburgh is not included in zip 80863 (checked all 3 counties listed)

As a note, the two in-market channels you get are included if you are in Choice or higher even if you don't have the Sports Pack. The pack is more for getting in-market RSNs when in Entertainment or lower or getting college sports.

Understood...I get SportsPak to be able to watch pre and post game shows and also the other local Pittsburgh programming and features that 659 offers. I also subscribe to CenterIce and Extra Innings for the games. I've done it this way(SportsPak) since 1996.

Also...All the other SportsPak channels on my recvrs are working. 659 is the ONLY channel not working.

Might be that the channel owner/team have cracked down on their market/blackout rules. You can try logging into your account and refreshing authorizations to see if that kicks it through if the change wasn't intentional.

Also check your local channels. If one of your locals picked up rights to the game, then it would be blacked out on the RSN.

Is the channel gone completely or getting an error message?

Model of boxes? (and do each have the issue?)

And be aware some MLB games may be finicky as some of them were sold off to Apple's service. (And they already had more blackout rules than other sports).

I suspect they either refreshed authorizations (same thing you can do online) or a "restart" of services which is something only they can do on their end. This is assuming you shared your account info with them through DM, as that would be the only way they could go into your account.

Wish they would share more general info on the fix that isn't too personal to the account to better guide others on a resolution.
