Why doesn't HULU play on DirecTV streaming ?

I assume you mean the DirecTV Streaming device not the service. Hulu is an app. The Hulu app is working fine on my devices such as fire sticks and Roku.

Hulu works on my iPhone but none of the TV's that use DirecTV streaming in my home.

DirecTV Streaming is the streaming service (like YouTube TV). The streaming device is used to stream the service - like Fire Brick, Roku, Smart TV, or the proprietary DirecTV streaming box. So what are you using to stream the service "DirecTV Stream"?

It is a known issue since last week and DIRECTV is working with Disney to fix this one. The fix is on the Hulu side and this is happening only on Osprey boxes.

Hulu app isn't working right now on the Directv Gemini Stream box (Osprey) It's a known issue and they are working on updating the app/device. There is another thread discussing this. It works fine on the Gemini Air but not the box. 

How do you know if you have a Directv Gemini Stream box (Osprey)

The DirecTV streaming box (so equipment, not the service), known as the Gemini or original name Osprey, is model C71KW. Though if it is a dongle to the TV that only connects to internet by WiFi (so no Ethernet port) then that would be the Gemini Air.

If it doesn't have the name or logo of the others (Roku, Firestick, etc.) then most likely you have DirecTV's box. Should have been listed when you bought it.

This is a Directv Stream box. Also--if you have a Hulu/Disney plus bundle you can access Hulu content on the Disney plus app.

@LaBeets Please install the 4/1 Hulu app update this will resolve the issue on the Osprey devices.

@LaBeets you would find this in the My Apps section of your device and you would see there is an update.  Check this helpful article out.
