Watching ESPN+/SEC+ content
I have ESPN + through my phone provider. I wanted to watch a football game airing on SEC+ so I had to select my TV provider. For reasons I can't understand, directv won't remove an account that I guess existed back in the ATT TV now days.
I logged in with the wrong username and password combo and got logged into my closed account. Even though in the ESPN app I cleared the cache and data, I still get automatically logged into my old account with directv when I select the TV provider. Same thing applies when I logout out of the TV provider and try to log back in.

Change email address????? What is that going to accomplish?
In the ESPN app, there's DirecTV and DirecTV stream. I'm selecting DirecTV stream because that's the service I have.
The problem originates from having an AT&T account and a DirecTV account. AT&T used to have "TV now" streaming and then spun it off to DirecTV.
Anytime I need to access my AT&T account, I have to try to figure out is it the email address I need to login in with or is it first initial last name. Same deal with the DirecTV account.
If I get it wrong trying to login to at&t, well I get forwarded to DirecTV. If I get it wrong logging into DirecTV, well, I get a message saying "we want you back." If I get wrong trying to login into ESPN, no opportunity to try again. That login is remembered regardless of how many times I sign out from TV provider and log back in.
This is why I want this old account removed so that at least it will say invalid login and then I can try again.
