Streaming in two locations

I have Direct Stream that is primarily active at my Miami home. I also have a home in upstate New York. I find I am unable to use Direct Stream at my New York home either directly into my LG TV or via screen mirroring through my laptop. If I screen mirror I am able to get sound but only a blank screen. How can I overcome this problem?

You should purchase a streaming device like a Fire Stick, Roku, or Apple TV for your home in New York.

I have found screen mirroring does not work with DTVS. Using an HDMI cable from the laptop to the TV does work very well.

You should be able to stream in your New York home.  But if you have never set your home location for your Florida home then that could be the reason that you are having issues with streaming to your LG TV.  Once your home location is set then you should be able to stream 2 TV outside of what is considered your home Network as well as one other device.  Hope this helps!
