Direct TV app and limited on demand content with Apple 4k TV

When using the direct tv app on apple 4k tv there seems to be an issue with limited on demand content using certain filters.  If I choose to view on demand content via networks and I click on a network, I get two lines.  One says Tv Shows and the other Movies.  When I scroll through the content it is very limited and there is no option to view all the available content.  On the direct tv app on my iphone there is a choice after scrolling to view all the content.  On the Direct Tv app on my gemini device there is a third line that allows you to filter by movie type that shows all available content.  Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a coding error within the app?

Hi, @rbarker76. Thanks for reaching out to us about navigating your On Demand using your Apple TV 4K. You're not missing any settings nor is there a coding error. Please note that under the Networks tab, you can only see the TV SHOWS and MOVIES options. You can follow these steps to get all of your On Demand content via Networks:

  • Press the ‘Back’ button on the remote

  • Arrow right to ‘On Demand’, press the ‘SELECT’ button on the remote

  • Select ‘Networks’, press the ‘Select’ button on the remote

  • Browse by ‘Networks’, press the ‘Select’ button on the remote for the preferred Network

  • Available On Demand TV Shows and Movies will display. 

  • Select ‘View All’ button that’s displayed on the left part of the TV SHOWS and MOVIES lines.
