Deleting recordings on Directv wireless app

We’ve just switched over to wireless. We can’t seem to figure out how to delete programs on the app we’ve watched. Help!

Sorry,  I should have been more specific (it was late and my brain wasn't working!)

We just switched to wireless and are using Gemini Air on 3 of 4 TVs.  On the 4th TV, I downloaded the Directv App.  All of the programs I had previously scheduled to record on my DirectV box are there.  However, once I've watched something, I can't figure out how to delete it.

Thanks for the link, but those directions are incomplete.  When using the DirecTV app, there is nothing on the screen that indicates where to delete and there aren't any buttons on my remote that will work.

Which device??? You said you are using the Gemini Air on 3 of the 4 but then said the problem is on the 4th. Most of the apps you can hit the down arrow--scroll to the side and hit my library. Then once in my library on the top ---hit all dvr recordings. Beside each show there is a trash can. Hightlight that and click it.

On the 4th TV I don't have a Gemeni Air dingle attached.  I am using the Firestick instead.  On the 4th TV, I downloaded the DirecTV app just like I would do for Netflix, Hulu, etc.

When I go to 'my library' and pull up my recordings and hit 'all dvr recordings', I get all of my recordings listed, but there is no trash can to the right.  The only thing it shows is a recording date.  I've tried to delete on my other tvs and my phone app, but it's the same story-there's nothing that indicates that I can delete the programs.

On you other Gemini dongles when you hit the list button on the remote---no trash icon there either?

The dongles haven't recorded anything before they were set up on Monday.  If we access Directv from the app, recordings that were already set when we used the satellite are available and continue to record.  It's like I have 2 separate Directv accounts.  I'm about to just live with it.  They all get deleted in 9 months anyway.... :(

Directv Stream and Dtv Satellite are 2 separate services The only programs you can delete that show up in the dvr list are from Directv Stream. You can't delete satellite programs using the Directv Stream app or a Dtv Stream device. You have to use a Dtv Satellite device for that.

It's still not clear which DirecTV service you're actually subscribed to ..... Satellite?  Stream? Or both?

@litzdog911  I'm pretty sure they have just subscribed to Dtv Stream b/c they said it was setup on monday and also already have satellite. They are trying to delete recorded satellite programs using Dtv Stream app and Dtv Stream devices.

Yeah, it's not clear, but I think you're right. Obviously one cannot delete DirecTV Satellite DVR recordings using a new DirecTV Stream account. Totally different services.

Since I’m streaming my boxes are all disconnected so I believe I’m just stuck. Thanks to all for the help.

I'm still confused, though, why you are seeing recordings that happened while you were using Satellite. Are you using the same email/user id for both accounts? If so, try using a different email/userid for your new stream account. You can change it on the Dtv stream website under your account. Logout of the devices then log back in with your new login credentials.

Yes, I'm using the same email/phone.  I think you're right about the problem being tied to email/phone. I also think this is a system issue that DirecTV needs to address for those of us moving from satellite to streaming.
