ATT Internet and DirectTV Misleading Signup

Signed up for 500 internet and entertainment package direct tv stream 12/23/23.  Was told the direct tv would have Bally Sports southeast but it didn't once set up.  Went back to the store where I purchased and decided to downgrade internet to 300 ($60-$5 prepay=$55/mo) and upgrade to direct tv choice package for $99.99/mo. on 12/28 but they said they couldn't upgrade and to check with corporate store which made no sense (note that they initially told me to just call customer service earlier in the day!!!). Went to corporate store and they upgraded with no problem.  I ask them specifically what the bottom line cost of direct tv was per month and they said just add $15 sports fee for about $114/mo. Hence, total for both should have been about $170 but when I got home this evening I'd been billed an additional $15 for advanced receiver fee on direct tv bill.  Bottom line is that the service trying to set up internet and TV with ATT has been terrible..........is it unreasonable for a customer to receive a bottom line price before cancelling their other internet/tv service so there are no surprises when billed????  Then customer service refuses to honor what I was told earlier today when I upgraded.  There's apparently a reason ATT won't give the customer a printout of what they're signing up for.............very frustrated with this experience so far!!!
