Adding a future show advertised that is not surrently on the channel guide
OK if my wife happens to see a show coming on TV, but it is not currently on the channel guide due to it being more than 2 weeks out. Is there a way to add this show for upcoming recording?

No. You'll need to wait for it to appear in the Guide.
