will gemini air work with 1.4 hdmi connection?
Hello, completely non tech guy here. I'm considering going to Directv internet with Gemini Air for my TV service I have an older HD TV with what I think are 1.4 HDMI connections, 1080p, nothing fancy. I don't need fancy, it works, that's all I want. Question is: will gemini air work with 1.4 hdmi connection? Directv says I need: An HD and 4K TV with HDMI 2.1 & 1.4, HDCP 2.3, 60 Hz and capable of 4K, 1080p and 3D. I don't want to get a new 4K TV to use this service, hope it will work with my current TV. Thanks!

You can always do a free trial to test your environment. You will know for sure that way if it will satisfy your needs.

It is compatible with 1.4. All that higher requirement is if you wanted 4K.
HD is still the norm with only pre-HD TVs needing adapters.
