Update Destroyed My TV

Since the update last Tuesday my tv that was connected to the directtv box kept having the same issues everyone else is having. The reset trick didn’t work. In fact it got worse and by Sunday morning my tv itself won’t even turn on now! I’m beyond furious! They sent me a new box but my tv doesn’t work at all now!

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TV, @Amber0508. A recent upgrade caused some Gemini and Gemini Air devices to get stuck on a loading screen. The issue should be solved by resetting the device following the steps at https://www.directv.com/support/article/000075734. You may also need to pair the remote again by pointing it at the device and pressing the Fast Forward & Rewind buttons at the same time for 2-3 seconds. However, this only affected the device software. Your TV only displays the video and audio from the device. We suggest you contact the TV manufacturer to check what is preventing it from turning on.
