Universal Bluetooth Remote Compatible with AppleTV 4K Streaming and DirecTV app

(#1) Is there a Universal Bluetooth Remote that is compatible with AppleTV 4K? In particular, I the remote must be compatible with the DirecTV app. For example, I plugged in my UBS Keyboard into the USB port on my television but the DirecTV app will not recognize letters "a" through "z" on my keyboard, meaning that I have to use the "left" and "right" arrow keys to input letters by hovering the selection of the letter and pressing enter. That is too laborious. 

(#2) Is there a remote that I can just speak into to speak the name or number of the channels while using the DirecTV app on AppleTV 4K?
