Roku works, removed, installed att unit, But...
Log into WiFi connection fine, then it wants to update before all else, but then times out with "Problem". Stuck!

What do you mean "att unit"? Where did you get it?
If the box says AT&T, not DIRECTV STREAM then that may be the problem.
