Reset my Home Network IP Address Counter

This year I have had some electrical issues at my single family home.  I had lightning damage to my networking equipment, so I changed out my cable modem a few times.  The power to the house was turned off multiple times  (for many hours at a time) while the electricians were upgrading my electrical service (breaker panels, etc).  Each of these events caused me to get a new IP address from Xfinity cable.  DirecTV says I cannot set my home network until May 2027 because I have reached my max of 4 changes.  May of NEXT YEAR is unacceptable.  I understand the reason for this counter and I promise you we are not cheating!!!  We've had a lot of network hardware and electrical system changes and would like to have this counter reset so I can set my home network again.  How can I get this done?  I really can't wait until May next year!

We're sorry to hear about all the electrical issues, @User5. We may be able to make an exception and allow 1 more change. However, the limit typically is 4 time in 12-months as stated on our website Set and manage your DIRECTV streaming home network | DIRECTV Support We've sent you a PM, please meet us there Melchisedec, DIRECTV Community Team
