Request for Adaptive HDR support on Gemini Air

I really like the experience of using the Gemini Air for watching DirecTV Stream, but the fact that I have to have HDR on or off only is preventing me from using HDR at all because of how it makes SDR TV look on my TV.  Any chance we will get adaptive HDR support at some point?  I know it works on the DirecTV app for Roku, so it is at least technically possible.

Yes, I agree. It's a great device.  Needs HDR support.  Have same issue.

@jlww1034 What's your issue? If you want HDR on--just turn it on.

The issue is if you turn on HDR, all channels including SD channels are forced HDR. The SD channels are over saturated and dark. Gemini needs an auto detect codec so it can detect channels that have HDR and ones that are SD.

This is not a new issue as there are other posts that have this problem.
