I want a tv 14-18" that can be controlled by Gemini Air remote
My wife insists on using channel numbers, so I don't have much choice for streaming besides Directv Gemini Air. She wants a TV for the kitchen in the 14" to 17" range. I keep getting the runaround from various AI (Use Samsung, they don't make that size, Use this, it doesn't support HDMI-CEC) and basically the all keep regurgitating nonsense.
Does anyone know of a device, TV or Monitor, that will do this? I need power and sound to be controlled by the Gemini remote?
Only reply if you have a setup that works. I don't need any more "Well, try this!"

Why Not use a Tablet instead of a "TV" Hook the Gemini to the HDMI port and you have Channel numbers.
📺 1. Use a tablet like a TV screen You can watch shows directly on the tablet itself. ✅ How it works: Install streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, or live TV apps Watch shows, movies, or live channels right on the screen ✅ Why people do this: Portable — you can watch anywhere Tablets support a wide range of streaming services and TV apps thestreamable You can even watch live TV channels through apps or services cordcutting 👉 This is the simplest option — your tablet basically becomes a small personal TV. 📺 2. Replace a TV (kind of) A larger tablet (10–16 inches) can act like a mini TV. ✅ Benefits: Easy to move room to room Good personal viewing experience Supports all major streaming apps meswao ⚠️ Limitation: Smaller than a real TV Not ideal for watching with a group 📺
to use HDMI on a Tablet You will need an adapter
🔌 1. USB‑C port (modern tablets)
➡️ This is the most common way today

Will this also allow control of power and volume? She can't deal with anything more complicated.

Yes, it will! Here's how you can program a Gemini remote to control TV functions such as power and volume:
1. Choose Settings and then System.
2. Select Remote & Devices, then Program Your Remote.
3. Choose the TV manufacturer you want to add.
4. Follow the prompts to finish up.
