Have Dsl when can I expect to get Fiber optic cable?

Have Directv stream right now for the past 2 years. My block has dsl which I am connected to right now. All the neighborhood around me except for my block have fiber optic cable. I was told by the installer at the time of installation that eventually my block would get upgraded to fiber optic. I am now starting to have sporadic buffering issues. Who do I contact to address this issue?

You contact whoever your internet provider is and see what is available. It is possible that your block is not in the fiber plan and the installer just told you what you wanted to hear to get on with their work.

In any case, DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM are TV providers. They have nothing to do with what internet options are available for you.
