Geminiair device

I don't and have never used this device can I return it?  If by doing this will my the $15.99 "advanced Reciever Service" be eliminated?

If you have DirecTV via Internet, then that is a provided device that is required. You return it upon cancelling the service (hopefully after your 24 month service agreement).

The other option DIRECTV STREAM is the bring your own device (BYOD) where you could just use your own streaming option and the fees were a bit less as it was up to you on how you watched instead of having it provided for you.

Can't turn one into the other as they are separate services.

Thanks for the input, @Juniper. The Advanced Receiver Services (ARS) fee applies even if the device is returned, @jkladney. It's a monthly fee for advanced features. Explore it here: DIRECTV Gemini | Our Best TV Experience At No Extra Cost Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team
