Gemini unit keeps dropping internet connection

Is there a known issue with the Gemini unit dropping internet connection? Restarting or cycling power fixes the issue, but then it happens again 5 min later (and multiple times). I called in about it yesterday, and Directv's tech support agreed to send me a new smaller plug-in unit (much like a firestick) right away. They didn't even argue about it or want to go thru a huge troubleshooting exercise. That is why I'm wondering if there is a known issue.
