How does one order the Osprey streaming box when ordering DTV Streaming service online? You can see the Gemini box but that looks like it's for those with Satellite service.

It's the same box .... C71K with different firmware for DirecTV Stream vs. DirecTV Satellite.

The Gemini is essentially the new Osprey. The firmware determines if it is used as a Client for DirecTV satellite or standalone for DIRECTV STREAM.
Coax to wall is for DirecTV (satellite).
Ethernet or WiFi for DIRECTV STREAM
Either way, HDMI to TV and power to outlet (just in case for those out there who can't understand these cannot be pure wireless).

So the setup for Streaming without Satellite is the same as Osprey box: connect Ethernet, HDMI, and power cable is all and not coax to wall?

I assume the Osprey/Gemini is ethernet or wifi no matter which service you are using - in one case it will have only the DirecTV streaming app (apparently useful regardless of which service you subscribe to) and in the other case it will (also?) have an app that emulates a Genie Mini to connect to a Genie receiver. The device has no coax regardless of the service - only a Genie has coax.
